BETA means we're in active development
Beta, the second letter of the Greek alphabet, refers to a computer software release cycle where the product is pretty much ready to go. There may be a few key features missing and some small errors here and there, but it's ready to be shared with the world for large scale testing and feedback. BuyLater is currently in beta and we invite you to join us during this exciting phase of our development.
Traditionally, products and services have a single development cycle and then remain the same for a long time, if not the rest of their life. BORING! We have many exciting ideas for BuyLater and will be continuously developing new features for the foreseeable future. With your help, BuyLater is going to keep getting better and better!
The Future of BuyLater Beta
It is very important that BuyLater is reliable and runs smoothly. Very soon, we will verify that BuyLater is performing without error and will graduate the current version out of beta. However, a beta version of BuyLater will still exist and we will use it to test our new ideas and features.
Once a feature is deemed to be beneficial and stable it will be added to the standard version. You will be able to choose which version of BuyLater you would like to use, whether you prefer a more stable experience or want the opportunity to try out new features as soon as they’re available.
The beta version of BuyLater will continue to exist because we want to actively develop our service with your input in mind. Together, we can make BuyLater the best it can be through you providing us with your own feedback and personal experiences using our service.
